In conversazione con Franco "Bifo" Berardi

On March 14, 2024, Kadmonia hosted a conversation with Franco "Bifo" Berardi at MADE Program, Accademia di Belle Arti "Rosario Gagliardi" in Syracuse.

The conversation centered on the themes of his book Disertate, recently published by Timeo. In his most recent writings, the philosopher and cultural agitator Franco "Bifo" Berardi asks what is to be done in a world where there is nothing left to do. Desert. Flee. Hide. Because when you flee you do not merely flee: you find accomplices, affinities, you forge bonds, new ideas and new weapons with which to defend yourself from an increasingly inhuman world.

The discussion touched on pleasure and suffering in the contemporary condition of the first connective generation, geopolitical perspectives on Europe, and the precipitating situation of wars.

Writer, philosopher and cultural agitator, Franco "Bifo" Berardi is among the most important contemporary radical thinkers. A founder of Radio Alice, his books are translated, read and studied all over the world. Among his latest works published in Italy: Heroes – omicidi e suicidi di massa (Baldini e Castoldi), Futurabilità (NERO) and Il terzo inconscio (Nottetempo).
